If this sounds like a good fit, please message me with a few details about yourself and your day to day life, what you're looking for in a living space, and any questions.
I am a professional actor, she/her, who has lived in this special apartment for years. I love that is has become an incubator and solid homebase for the people who live here. Roommates have pursued studies, cultivated dreams, met the loves of their lives, grown their careers, and found their dream jobs while living here. My most recent round of roommates completed and defended their PhD in the house. It's a beautiful legacy and I'm excited to find the right fit for the next chapter.
As a roommate, I am social and welcoming. I love it when roommates bring friends over. With each group of roommates, we find our own shared cleaning routine that keeps a steady baseline that we all contribute to. I'm mindful of clutter and keeping things organized enough so that the space looks and feels calm to come home to and relax in. A consideration I discuss openly, is that I'm sensitive to strong chemical smells. I provide unscented or lightly cleaners, or homemade options, and ask that we refrain from heavily scented candles, incense, and over use of perfume - it's always an open dialogue. I'm also a good communicator and like fostering community within the house. I see a balance when we can all feel relaxed at home, in a calm space, with a mix of private quite time and socializing.
