My roommate of two years is moving out and I’m looking for someone awesome to take their place.
The Apartment:
This is a 2BR / 1BA on the 3rd floor of a classic Soho walk-up, with the added bonus of an in-unit washer/dryer. The space is cozy and efficient — no living room, but we share a clean bathroom, a functional kitchen, and a small dining area.
The available bedroom faces west, with a window that brings in soft light (not a ton of direct sun, though, just to be honest!) It comfortably fits a full bed plus a small desk or dresser. While there’s no closet in the room, you’ll get a full hallway closet to yourself.
The Neighborhood:
We’re on beautiful, tree-lined Thompson Street right in the heart of Soho — steps from West Village, Greenwich Village, Tribeca, and Hudson Square. We’re close to just about every train (1, A/C/E, B/D/F/M, R/W), with a Trader Joe’s around the corner and Whole Foods a 10–15 minute walk away. Washington Square Park and the West Side Highway are also nearby for sunny strolls or jogs.
About You:
You’re clean, considerate, and responsible — the kind of person who picks up after themselves and believes in splitting chores without drama. Ideally, you’re a full-time student or professional and work from home minimally. No smoking, no loud late-night energy.
If this sounds like a match, shoot me a message with a bit about yourself, what you’re looking for in a roommate, and a link to your social media profile (Insta or LinkedIn is great). Excited to meet you!
I’m a gay guy in my mid-30s who works in tech and loves music, cinema, and art. Not into the party scene. I work from the office full-time (very rarely WFH), and when I’m home I like to keep things clean, peaceful, and good-vibes-only. Evenings are usually spent at the gym or out with friends, and I travel often for work or fun.
You must have steady income with complete documentation (you’ll need to be added to the lease, so good credit and income to meet requirements are important).
