Come live in a beautifully-restored 1905 Craftsman, in the heart of vibrant Highland Park, Los Angeles. Steps away from bustling Figueroa and a short walk from York.

This nine-bedroom home features hardwood floors, restaurant-style kitchen, elegant dining room, sunny living room, quiet library, upstairs deck, backyard fire pit, recording studio, gym, guest room, and four full bathrooms.

Lease is 4 months and then month-to-month. Rent includes all utilities as well as a shared monthly budget for food and supplies -- an over $150 value.

Housemates are a mix of creatives and professionals. There is one house meeting per month and everyone contributes 4-5 hours of monthly chores. Most decisions and communication happen over Slack, and most things run as a do-ocracy. Projects are encouraged. In general folks keep a quiet and clean house, with occasional parties and dinners. Due to allergies, we cannot accommodate pets.

The room is medium-sized (107 sqft), on the second floor with a casement window opening up to a deck. Room is available Jan 7, with potential for earlier move-in.
