Hi :) This is Rose and Melanie: we’re looking for a new roommate to join us in our lovely Clinton Hill apartment!

Looking to fill our third bedroom in prime Clinton Hill ! We would like to find someone who is responsible and considerate (and maybe also has a few things in common with us !) likes a tidy living room, shares the kitchen and cleaning responsibilities, has had roommates before, is comfortable communicating differences and finding solutions together ! Must love dogs/has lived with dogs before <3

The room: 
Can easily fit a full with furniture OR a queen (if you’re ambitious) and has a full sized closet. We all share one bathroom but it’s not really ever been a problem !

The apartment: 
Our place is the garden level of our building, we have a private backyard (!) and the highly coveted washer/dryer in unit :,) Big kitchen (if only we were chefs smh) that opens up to the living room - perfect for hanging out while cooking dinner or watching tv. 
Fully furnished shared spaces but the room comes as a clean slate! Each of us has a full size closet and also a full size hall closet (so much storage) 

We’re located directly between the Clinton/Washington G and A/C lines (about 5 min walk to both!). We’re also pretty close to Barclays as well (about 13 min walk) ! 

The neighborhood: 
Honestly this is the best neighborhood in NY (we are biased) - block parties, cute bars and restaurants, very accessible to Manhattan and also pretty easy to get across Brooklyn, and just overall vibes - it’s truly so cute here. We love our neighbors and plan to be here for a while! 

$1370 for the room + utilities (ranging from $80-$200 depending on the season! summer is hot smh)

About This Lister

A little about us: 

Rose (she/her) is in her early thirties (but hates to think about that) - she’s been living in this apartment for 3 years! she has an elderly small dog named Remus who is the love of her life ! She likes wine nights, concerts, park days, beach days and couch rotting. Is a terrible cook but will sometimes use the kitchen for pasta or pancakes (but mostly just girl dinner snack plates) (she eats at work a lot). She works nights and loves to have the roomies come see her at work :,) 

Melanie (she/her) is almost ! 30 and moved here from Mexico City 2 years ago - she’s lived here for a year and loves it! She has a rescue dog named Lilibet (very anxious but very sweet and playful <3). She also likes concerts & wine nights, trying out new restaurants, movie nights, pilates and girl walks. she works from home from 9-5 ! she’s a vegetarian but not picky about sharing pots/pans/utensils. also cooks sometimes but like not really (mostly simple things tbh !)
