Hi! I'm moving from the mountains of western North Carolina to NYC at the end of August or start of September dependent on housing availability). I'll be living with my partner who is local to NYC and can tour and/or meet landlord anytime.
Dream living situation:
- 2 bedrooms
- dog-friendly
yard space (my sweet dog only knows life on acres of wilderness, so we're looking for a ground-level space that has a yard or patio or some way to access outside directly from the unit to help her adjust to city life).
- something on the west side of Manhattan anywhere below 155th.
- Washer and dryer
- dishwasher
- plenty of light/windows
- up to $3000/mo.
I'm a mountains person transitioning to the city for a new job, to be close to my partner, and to experience something new! I've been a summer camp director for the past 5 years, love the outdoors, people, good food, games (board games, sports, etc.), and my pup! My pronouns are she/her.
I currently live on 1400 acres of land at the camp I run, so I'm anticipating some adjustment-related challenges to city life and really hope I can find a space that has a yard, no matter the size.
