Sewist / pattern maker for wool felt hat samples

I'm in the early stages of starting a small sauna hat brand and I'm looking for a sewist or pattern maker to help me bring a new style to life.

The hat is made from 3mm 100% wool felt — a sailor hat shape with a brim that folds down so it can also be worn as a bucket hat. I need help drafting the pattern and producing a few samples to fit-test the shape and the fold. If the samples come together well, there's likely ongoing production work down the line.

Experience with hats, felt, or structured fabrics would be ideal, since the material is on the heavier side. Brooklyn or NYC preferred, but open to remote if you're set up to receive materials and ship samples.
