HYER GOODS is looking for a passionate, engaging self-starter to join the team as a Social Media Specialist + Content Creator. In this role, you will cultivate and grow our digital community. The ideal candidate will have a consistent stream of ideas. They’re a self-starter, creative problem solver, and a multi-tasker that can prioritize and hit deadlines. They will understand how to gather insights, create and implement a strategy, and report on results.

Primary Responsibilities include:

-Manage HYER GOODS’ content calendar + social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok)

-Create + curate engaging content, utilizing strategic storytelling on social, embrace and create trends, and explore emerging platforms, all while maintaining the brand voice

-Manage day-to-day activities related to social media, including posting, reposting, monitoring, tagging, engaging and analysis

-Analyze social media data and use insights to optimize performance. Compile reports and recaps to share valuable insights and learnings from data and community

-Core responsibilities include social strategy and campaign planning, identifying social trends, and performance reporting

-Communicate relevant updates on the social space and trends

-Identify and engage creators and brand advocates to build loyalty and affinity to further enhance brand communication, create buzz + nurture our community

-Stay current and forward thinking on new social media tools and platforms, best practices and use within the competitive landscape

-Strategize + implement ways to grow community on social (giveaways, partnerships, etc)

Requirements:

-Experience with social media planning + execution

-In-depth knowledge of social media channels and how each can be leveraged for various campaigns and goals effectively
Finger on the pulse of culture and trends that can be adapted to our brand

-Strong analytical skills to easily tap into big picture thinking when it comes to social media content, campaigns, and activations

-Ability to conceive and execute content on your own.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Excellent project management skills

-Strong attention to detail and a knack for problem solving

-Ability to adapt and adjust planned work by analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; and to understand the most effective and efficient means to accomplish tasks

-Strong fashion and styling sense, bonus if you have a passion for sustainability

This job is remote but requires commuting to NYC for shoots.

HYER GOODS is a small, woman-owned, sustainable fashion brand. Launched in November 2019 by fashion industry veteran Dana Cohen, our mission is to create luxury goods without the impact, utilizing luxury leftover materials that are better for the environment.

We are primarily an e-commerce brand, but we just opened our first retail store in the West Village of NYC!
