Bedroom and bathroom available in furnished two bedroom, two bathroom duplex on a quiet, tree-lined street on the east side of West Hollywood (near the Santa Monica Blvd. & La Brea Ave. intersection). The place features front and back patios, permit parking, lovely wood flooring, central HVAC, washer and dryer, and a well-equipped kitchen with new stove and refrigerator.

I also have a sweet, purr-ball of a cat that will need to be taken care of while I'm out of town, which will be until Christmas. She's friendly to humans, but not so much to other animals, so unfortunately I can't allow your pets here during your stay.

The neighborhood is walkable and bike-able with Trader Joe's, Target, Ralphs, and Smart & Final a few minutes away on foot, as well as Poinsettia and Plummer Parks. Runyon Canyon is a few minute drive or about a 20 minute walk. Dozens of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops are a walk or a short drive away.

The place is set up for productivity with 1Gb/s fiber internet and a laser printer (a color one is available if needed for your work). The sitting room has a Sony TV with AppleTV, HBOMax, and Prime. I also have years and years of award screener DVDs if you're interested.

I work in film production and will be out of town on a project until Christmas, so you will have the entire place to yourself during that time (I may pop in on an occasional weekend). After Christmas, I will be here full time, and will go back to taking care of the cat.

I prefer one person rent the room (vs. a couple). The house is located on a serene, tree-lined block, so I ask that you're on the quiet side yourselves.

About This Lister

I'm a film and television producer, originally from the Chicago area, but have been in Los Angeles for over 20 years. I've been fortunate to have lived in this space for 10 of those, and look forward to sharing it with you. It's a duplex, so there's one neighbor, an older woman who is very quiet, with a couple adorable cats of her own. The whole block is extremely chill, and filled with professionals, many working in entertainment.

While you're here, I'll be your contact person. I'll be out of town on a film shoot, but readily available by phone or Zoom if anything comes up.
