I'm looking for someone to take over the lease for my bedroom in a Crown Heights two bedroom. I really love it here but I have the rare opportunity to take over a friend's rent controlled lease and live alone. Otherwise I would not be leaving!

Bedroom:
The bedroom is nice, airy and spacious.

I have a queen size bed and desk in it currently, with a desk chair and a huge standing plant. In the picture attached, the bedroom has a dresser in it and a full size bed, but that was the previous arrangement!

Attached to the room is a private backyard deck. The windows of the bedroom are backyard facing so it's serene and calm throughout the day and evenings.

Apartment:
The shared living space is massive! The furniture that would be staying after I leave is a dining table and couch, but you can make arrangements with the current tenant.

Also, the bedrooms are on opposite ends of the house with the living space inbetween so lots of privacy.

Current tenant:
My roommate's name is Hannah. She's really kind, loves to cook, read, and watch tv. We're both big Heated Rivalry stans. I'd like to find someone who is qpoc+ friendly with similar vibes.

Building:
Our unit is a 2nd floor walk up, the only other unit in the building is the upstairs neighbors, who are really kind and warm. We help each other bring in packages. The building management has been really responsive and has fixed everything we've ever requested too.

There is no laundry in the building, but two laundromats a few blocks away on either side of us.

There's a third place right next door that has a free store, library, and printer access. It's been convenient to drop off things at their free store so that they may have second lives.
