Spend the winter months in a peaceful, beautiful home on the island of Corfu. I’m opening my house for sublets from November through the end of February.

Corfu in winter has a quiet, understated magic. The summer crowds have long gone, leaving behind golden light, lush green hillsides, and a slower rhythm. Olive groves are alive with harvest, mornings are misty and soft, and the sea remains a shimmering presence. You can walk along empty beaches, wander village trails, and feel the island’s true character — calm, authentic, and deeply restorative.

Cafés, bakeries, and a few local tavernas stay open year-round, and the mild climate makes it easy to explore without the intensity of summer heat. It’s an ideal setting for remote work, creative retreats, or anyone craving a quieter pace of life.

I am renting Large sunny rooms for 675 Euros each -in the countryside near the traditional Greek village of Kynopiastes, 10 minutes from the airport, the old Fort and Corfu town.

This storybook home is set in the hills, among ancient olive trees and offers two private bedrooms and a shared bathroom in a private hallway. Property also includes a small art studio, vegetable garden, citrus trees and a large swimming pool deck overlooking the verdant landscape and hill villages nearby. Each bedroom has a desk and under floor heat for the chilly months. The living room has open beam 20’ ceilings framed by gorgeous arches built from old Corfu town brick, a large wood Burning fireplace, and 5 french doors opening out onto a veranda and large sun soaked grounds. Additional features include a huge open dining room, large fireplace, remodeled kitchen with all new appliances.

Up from the dining room there are three brick stairs, on one side you will find the two large private bedrooms with tons of light and a shared bathroom. The first bedroom is at the end of the hallway and has three windows, There is a bathroom, toilet in the middle hallway and then at the other end is the second bedroom. I am renting only these two rooms in my house, single occupancy preferred. On the other adjacent side of the hallway is my private bedroom/bathroom suite.

The grounds include a landscaped front yard with a huge patio and brick bbq, ancient olive trees, a walled back yard with citrus trees a large stairway up to a pool deck and landscaped hillside perfect for entertaining. The drive way is large enough for three small cars and the property is private and gated. You feel like you are up in the hills, it is very quiet, surrounded by peaceful nature, and beautiful trees, yet you are moments away from a bustling shopping road, full of cafes, butchers and supermarkets and a direct bus into Corfu town center. The nearest little local beach is 10 minutes away by car and a short 20-40 minute drive to long sandy beaches or rocky coves with aquamarine water, which is lovely to swim in throughout the winter. Kynopiastes village is just five minutes walk from the house, where there is a local bar on the square and a coffee shop and small supermarket open year round.

Winter on Corfu, is both rainy and beautifully sunny. The temperature is moderate, nights are cold but I have a lovely fire and heating.

The house comes with three sweet dogs, a Greek hare hound, a miniature Dachshund and a Poodle. We are looking to share our space with respectful guests who love dogs, enjoy quiet and conversation, cleanliness and most of all appreciate peace and nature. I am happy to share family style meals or more independent style. If you are interested in a tranquil experience yet close to town and airport, it will be perfect.
