We seek a reliable organized and detail oriented person to assist with an urgent paper based project and some pragmatic, hands on studio reorganization. Will work under direction and independently - to print, glue, cut and shape various paper pieces based on a template.
Candidate must have dexterous hands that are adept at precision cuts with X-Acto blades, scissors, glue, paper and cardboard.
Candidate must clean up at the end of each work session: sink, trash, clippings, work area and closing all and any active computer applications.
Additionally, there is some physical reorginization of tables and work areas, generally speaking.
Some errands related to collage work as needed.
Candidate will be in the soup of daily studio work, source material, books, and projects.

NY based, international Art Studio focused on drawing. Located in Prospect Heights near downtown Brooklyn. Studio/Artist is known primarily for her draftsmanship with a high level of experience and knowledge regarding paper, framing specifications, handling, and art historical context.
Intern will be in an upbeat work setting where curiosity is encouraged.
