A spacious, open living area is available as a dedicated creative workspace in a quiet Washington Heights apartment. This is a thoughtfully shared environment, best suited for someone seeking a calm, consistent place to focus and create.
The room is expansive and filled with natural light throughout the day, with a warm, golden glow in the afternoon. It lends itself well to writing, design, visual art, and other quiet practices. This is a simple, intentional setup for someone who values light, quiet, and focus. If it resonates, feel free to reach out with a bit about you, your practice, and how you'd use the space.
Details
- $700/month (all-inclusive utilities + WiFi - included). More than anything I am looking for the right fit – someone who will value and respect the space.
- Month-to-month
- Access to full kitchen, restroom, and a storage closet
- 6th-floor walk-up. The very top(the light makes it worthwhile).
- unfurnished
Location:
- Near 168th St (A/C/1) — under a 5-minute walk
- Close to M3, M5, M100, Bx7, and Bx35 bus lines, and the M60 is not too far as well
- 30 minutes to Midtown
I live in the apartment but do not use the living/dining space. I’m typically out of the apartment during the day 4–5 days a week for work, and regularly away on Wednesdays and alternating weekends. There will be overlap at times, so this is best suited for someone comfortable with occasionally sharing space in a respectful, low-impact way. Again, I don’t really use the space, so you will not have to worry about sharing most of the time. Even when I am here I am either in the kitchen or my room. Between work, friends, and hobbies, there is plenty of time to have the space to yourself.
Seeking someone who:
- Maintains a level of cleanliness
- Is a non-smoker (420 friendly)
- Works quietly (no sound-based or loud practices)
- Does not host gatherings or group sessions in the space
- Communicates clearly and consistently
