Hello! I am seeking a roommate to move into my sunny lovely 2 bedroom apartment in Clinton Hill where I have lived for the past two years. The apartment features:

- Abundant natural light: Big windows in every room looking out onto a few sweet street.

- Cozy common space: Great cooking kitchen with a dishwasher and lots of plants

- Clean, bright bathroom: Windowed bathroom with a full tub and shower and good storage for toiletries.

- Small building: There are less than 10 units in the building, friendly neighbors, and a neighborhood bar downstairs (I get a 50% neighbor discount!)

- Convenient location: The apartment is one block from the C train at Clinton-Washington and about 10 minutes walking from the Clinton-Washington G. Plenty of restaurants, bars, bakeries and coffee shops and equidistant from both Prospect and Fort Greene parks.

The Room:

- Private and quiet: The available room is on the opposite side of the apartment as mine, making it private and cozy with a big window and great light. There are no closets in the room but you will have ownership of two large closets in the living space.

About You

I am seeking a roommate who is kind, considerate and clean. Looking for someone friendly and open who wants to get to know one another and who is seeking a home environment that is a balance between open and lively at times and also being quiet and mellow at times. I am very community minded and have great relationships with the other renters in the building and neighbors on the block (I am the Vice President of our block association).

About This Lister

I am a 28 year old white queer woman (she/her) who has lived in New York for almost 10 years. I work from home full time at a company that supports social impact leaders with their work and I work part time as a birth doula. I spend my time outside of work hanging out with with friends, going line dancing, running and walking and biking in the park and generally enjoying being in Brooklyn!

I love to cook and host but am also big on alone time and tend to be on the mellower side during the week and out doing social things on the weekends.
