1 large bedroom for rent starting 11/1 (or possibly earlier as the room is available now). Please indicate your move in date in your response!
Seeking 1 mature, kind housemate for a 3 bedroom apartment in Park Slope/Gowanus. We’re closest to the R/F/G trains. I go into the city a lot and it takes about 15-20 min and is a very easy commute. We would prefer a woman for the room.
The apartment is in a small, walkup building up 2 small sets of stairs. This is a very quiet building of professionals. Common spaces include a living room, dining area, balcony, kitchen and shared bathroom. There is a dishwasher, but sadly no washer/dryer.
The bedroom comes unfurnished and with ample storage space. Easily fits a full or queen sized bed with plenty of room to spare and is $1400. Bathroom is shared with 1 other person. Double closet with shelves in room.
We are hoping to find a like-minded person who doesn't leave dishes in the sink and is willing to pitch in cleaning up: taking out the trash/recycling; cleaning the bathroom/kitchen 1x a week; swiffering hallways/common areas. This is a quiet street and building and we all enjoy the peace of our space. We prefer living with women, especially given the bathroom sharing.
Both of us are committed to this being a nice, cozy home and are looking for someone who is looking for the same.
**No pets, no smoking, no parties/heavy socializing please!** Looking for a roommate who spends most of their day outside of the apartment.
I am a woman in my 30s and I am the primary tenant. I am generally very quiet and conscientious. I think common areas should be neat and clean. I like to cook, dish about reality tv, read, go to the movies, and I do most of my socializing outside of the apartment.
I am not a neat freak, but I think common spaces should be left the way that you found them; no dirty dishes left in the sink or hair in the bathroom.
First month’s rent + 1 month of security is required to secure the room. You will also need to provide a paper copy of your govt issued photo ID + proof of income.
Rental price does not include utilities, which include FIOS internet, ConEd and National Grid.
