PICTURE THIS: a spacious, sun-drenched retreat wrapped in deep greens and blues, ready and waiting for you. The Forest Room isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a fully furnished sanctuary designed to support every part of your life.

Three thoughtfully arranged “nooks” make the most of this generously sized space (seriously, it rivals a studio apartment):

• 🌙 The Sleeping Nook — A cozy corner with a brand-new hybrid mattress. Sweet dreams guaranteed.

• ☀️ The Couch Nook — Curl up by the window with your book, your coffee, or your thoughts.

• 💻 The Desk Nook — A dedicated space to focus, create, and conquer your to-do list.

Oh, and did we mention the mini-fridge? Because yes, there’s a mini-fridge.

Your home, your pace. Close the door for quiet focus or a peaceful evening in. Open it to join your roomies in the cozy living room or well-stocked kitchen. You set the tone.

Your housemates are a friendly, organized mom, a low-key teenager who loves scrapbooking, and a busy professional who works midtown. Plus two sweet black cats who may or may not adopt you immediately. 🐱🐱

It is a 4 Bedroom/2 Bathroom Apartment so we each have our own space and privacy. Your room is an expansive 12 feet x 18 feet, the largest room on the premises! You'll be sharing a bathroom with the other roommate who is at work all day.

Everyone keeps the common areas tidy and respects each other’s space and schedules — it’s genuinely a kind, easy household.

Laundry is downstairs in the basement, and the neighborhood is walkable, and full of good restaurants, beautiful parks, and fun things to do.

Getting around is a breeze — the A Express is literally across the street, the 1 train is a 10-minute walk, and multiple bus lines are nearby. Columbus Circle is less than 30 minutes away.

$1880 per month includes all utilities ( gas, electricity, internet and cable) except use of the air conditioner if you stay for July and August. Feel free to ask for details.

Move-in ready. We prefer a minimum 3-month stay. Come see it — we think you’ll feel right at home.

About This Lister

I work part-time teaching wellness classes in different gyms and community centers around the city. I also teach Zoom classes from home, and have a few clients who come by for private sessions. I like helping people reduce stress and feel better.

My 16 year old daughter takes online classes, which means she is sometimes home during the day. I am also in and out. The apartment is large and L-shaped, so I often don't even know who is at home. It's more like a house in that way.

I am pretty neat and like to keep the kitchen sparkling. I love to vacuum.

Our roommate in The Garden Room (the other room that is rented) is in her 20s and works a 9-5 job. She likes to bake scones on the weekends.

The cats are very affectionate, but won't take it personally if you decide to keep them out of your room.

What is most important is that you communicate your needs and concerns with respect. We all want to enjoy this lovely space and feel good being around each other.
