two rooms in a gorgeous 3 bedroom 1.5 bath apartment in flatbush off the church ave B/Q! 6th floor unit of an elevator building, dishwasher, laundry in basement, amazing neighbors, apartment is very clean

about $2500 for two rooms (our breakdown has been roughly $1250, $1200, $950)

my partner and I just renewed our lease but have to (very last minute) relocate for a job in january. our third roommate is staying for at least a year. 

we are subletting two rooms in the apartment, with the choice of one large room and one smaller room that fits a queen bed, a dresser, and has a closet. 

the ideal situation is an artist, lifelong brooklyn resident, grad school student(s), couple, friends, or people who are already roommates who can commit to a 1-2 year sublease term and take both rooms. we are open to a shorter term subleaser for the right fit. 

we are community organizers and are looking for people who will build community with our neighbors, as we all collectively care for each other in this building. the apartment is home to many long-term and lifelong residents, some of whom have or are facing eviction, so we are looking for people who understand displacement and are oriented towards organizing, community care, and housing justice.
 
we eventually plan to return to the apartment in 2-3 years when the lease is up for renewal again, but that might change. if that does change, there is the possibility to take over the lease in 2-3 years. 

the apartment will come partially furnished in the living spaces with the option to purchase low cost bedroom furniture OR remove bedroom furniture as you see fit, all up for discussion with current roommates

current roommate is incredibly clean, extremely kind, and an amazing cook.

unfortunately no pets! :(

amazing natural light, 10 minutes to prospect park, laundromats nearby, restaurants and community spaces, etc.
