Hello!

We’re looking for one roommate to join our cozy 3-bedroom apartment in Gowanus, Brooklyn. My name is Paul Baker, and I’ve been here for over six and a half years—I’m a chef, so the kitchen is well-equipped if you love to cook! My roommate, Brennan, and I keep things friendly, and relaxed. We do not see each other much as we have very different hours.

Available Room
Monthly rent: $850.00 (plus utilities: electric, internet, and gas).
Security deposit: equal to one month’s rent, due at commitment.
Room features: Room comes with a loft style bed to save space in the room which can be taken down if desired.

The Apartment & Neighborhood
The apartment has a fair amount of natural light, it is fully furnished but is due for upgrading, and situated on the top floor (4th) with roof access offering amazing views of Brooklyn and Manhattan! Located on the Gowanus-Park Slope border, it’s a lively and convenient area with everything you need close by.

Transit: Half a block from the R train and a 10-15 minute walk to Atlantic-Barclays (access to 2, 3, 4, 5, N, Q, R, and D trains). F and G trains are also nearby on 9th Street.
Nearby: Coffee shops, bars, breweries, restaurants, and grocery stores are all within walking distance, along with Dino BBQ right across the street!
About Your Roommates
Paul: A 36-year-old sales consultant former chef originally from Minnesota, I’ve been in NYC on and off for about a decade. I have a friendly, independent cat named Kovu who loves his windowsill perch. Also an avid scuba diver.
Brennan: In her 20s, who works mostly nights in the restaurant industry and is usually asleep in the day. She has a sociable cat named Edgar. yes there are two cats in the apartment.

Move-In Date
Ideally, we’re looking for someone to move in on august 1st, but we’re flexible on the timing for the right person. Things can be moved in early as well.
