LEASE TAKEOVER WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF RENEWAL:
We’re looking for someone to take over our lease for our sunny 1-bedroom on a quiet block in PLG close to the 2 & 5 trains. The apartment is a 3rd floor walkup in a modern building with south facing light and a balcony. The apartment also has a dishwasher and an in-unit washer-dryer combo. It has a kitchen-living room combo so it’s only two rooms plus a bathroom but the pantry and closets provide a lot of storage. It’s a perfect apartment for a person or couple who enjoys looking at birds in the backyard and wants to feel tucked away while also having great transit access.
We rent directly from the owners of the apartment in a small condo building. We’ve been living here for a year and a half now and have enjoyed the apartment - we’re moving because our situation has changed. We’re ending our lease early so we’re working with the owners, who are a nice couple, to find someone/s to take over our lease with the possibility of renewing again starting next October. Preference would be given towards someone who can sign a lease for February 15 but we would also consider a March 1st move in date!

-Last 2 years of tax returns
-2 most recent pay stubs
-2 references
-Proof of rent payment for at least the last 3 months
-Income verification letter stating length, position, salary with your full name on it
-Last two months of bank statements.
-Photo ID (Driver license or Passport photo page)
-Credit report
-Cover letter
