Looking for an apartment, short-term sublet is fine.
Hi! 26 year old male. Looking for a short-term living situation starting next month. Looking for a few months, maybe longer. Ideally, you're out of town for a few months and want someone to take over your room. I'm mostly just looking for a place to slide into, one that is ideally fully furnished. I only have two suitcases and a bicycle.
I'm an educator at a non-profit and a writer/creative. Feel free to ask me about any of it, or to see my LinkedIn. I do have to spend a lot of time at home for writing work, I cook at home, and am good about saving money. So, I have savings (of course, I'm not crazy), and I'm always looking for ways to keep a low overhead.
I am currently living in a friend's home, who is subletting it to me, in Bushwick, border of Ridgewood. I love this area and would love to stay in Ridgewood. I don't want to have to change my gym! I love how reasonably-priced, spacious, and home-y this area feels.
(But I am open to wherever else in the city, too, really.)
Before this, I lived in East Williamsburg, as well as Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg and Charlottenburg), and can provide references from all of those last 3-4 places I've lived - I am an excellent sub-letter and have a perfect track record.
I live with two female roommates right now, but enjoy living with whomever, as long as they're tidy.
If you're interested, we can get to talking as soon as you want, I can arrange visits, phone calls, zoom calls, et cetera.
