Hello! Im looking to sublet my sunny and quiet private bedroom w/en suite that also comes with a private office space in Flatbush BK starting May 1-31 that will then transition to a 12-month lease. The full apartment is 2bed/2bath + office and my roommate and I are the first tenants in this fully renovated unit (both lived here for 2 years). Apartment is on the second floor (walk up) and there is only 1 other unit in the building (tenants are young female college students). This sublet is unfurnished.

The apartment is a short 5min walk to the 2/5 train at the Newkirk Ave/Little Haiti stop, which is also on Nostrand Ave, a hub for grocery stores, restaurants, and other conveniences. Laundry is a short 3 min walk. And just 1 subway stop away (Flatbush Ave/Brooklyn College) is Target, HomeGoods, Aldi, Starbucks, & more.

My current roommate is a young professional female (early 30s) with a hybrid work schedule. Ideally you are a young female professional (late 20s early 30s), like to keep common spaces tidy, brings chill/lowkey and respectful vibes, and is responsible.

This sublet is perfect for anyone, but really great for someone moving to the city wanting time to get familiar with all the different neighborhoods nyc has to offer before committing, while getting a great deal on rent in the meantime.
