I’m looking for a furnished private room in a shared apartment, ideally with a private or en-suite bathroom. A lockable bedroom door and basic furnishings (bed, dresser/closet, and space for a small desk) would be ideal since I work from a laptop.
Outdoor space such as a balcony, patio, or yard would be a plus since I’m an occasional smoker (always respectful of house rules). Access to a kitchen and laundry in the building or nearby is preferred.
I’m ideally looking in Astoria near the N/W trains, but I’m also open to Sunnyside, Long Island City, Ridgewood, or Upper Manhattan if it’s a good fit and near the subway.
Move-in date is April 4. I’m looking for a flexible arrangement (month-to-month or 3–6 months), with the option to stay longer if it’s a great fit.
Hi! My name is Seron. I’m a graphic designer relocating to NYC from Atlanta on April 4. I’ve previously worked with Netflix and SiriusXM, and I’m currently interviewing for design roles while continuing freelance work.
I’m clean, respectful, and easygoing with shared spaces. I keep a calm, low-key home environment and spend most of my time working from a laptop.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends, exploring the city, and keeping up with design, culture, and current events. I’m an occasional smoker but always respectful of shared spaces and house preferences.
I’m happy to do a quick 10-minute video chat before the move, and I’ll be available to view rooms in person starting the weekend of April 5–6. References and proof of funds are available if helpful.
