This is a wonderful spacious furnished affordable room in a great convenient neighborhood, 88th and 1st. Close to Central Park, museums, shopping, and all transportation.

I am a 50 ish teacher away for the summer. I have lived here for 3 years.

Your roommate is a 60 something male artist with a great personality. The vibe is congenial, stable, and calm. We are friendly and mature.

You share the kitchen and bathroom and have exclusive use of this large room.
The room has a large empty closet and tons of storage. It is about 15X13 with has very high ceilings so it feels spacious.
The work desk and lounge areas are comfy and useful. It has an air conditioner and a premium, very comfortable mattress.

Yes you can cook, and you have your own storage space in the kitchen and fridge as well as utensils, plates etc. You also have storage space in the bathroom. The bathroom has LOTS of hot water.

We keep VERY clean in common spaces, but you can keep your room as you like.

The room's red poster has been taken down.
The room has an air conditioner.
The red pillows are gone.
It is a 3rd floor walkup.
This is an older building so the hallways are not glamorous, but the room is very charming.

This room is best for someone who is mature, financially responsible, and quiet.
No drama no smoking, no drugs, no pets ( sorry), no craziness! Just a responsible grownup who can enjoy this GREAT deal.
