Large, quiet, furnished back bedroom in a pre-war third-floor walk-up available for summer sublet near Eastern Parkway and Franklin Ave. (4/5/2/3 Franklin Ave stop)
I will be away for almost the entire summer, and you will have sole use of the large private bedroom. I may return for a night or two and would sleep in the living room; any such visits would be rare and communicated in advance.
The bedroom features a large north-facing window, high ceilings, wood floors, a comfy queen bed, reading chair, closet, and dresser for storage. The apartment also has a full bathroom with claw-foot tub and a fully equipped kitchen with a small dining area. Air conditioner and box fan available.
Fantastic location with excellent transportation just outside the door. Surrounded by great restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, laundry, and shops. Short walk to Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Public Library, Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket, Prospect Park, and Park Slope.
Seeking one organized, very tidy, respectful adult looking for a place to call home for the summer. Introverts welcome.
I am a professor, 53, she/her, clean, quiet, friendly, and eco-conscious, hoping to find a compatible person to share and care for my home while I’m away.
Individual occupant only. This is a sober home with a focus on mindfulness, quiet, and well-being. Sorry, no overnight guests, smoking, drugs, intoxication, parties, or pets.
One-month minimum. Wi-Fi and gas included; subletter pays electric.
