Hi! I am looking for a new roommate to fill a room in my 2bed/1 bath apartment in Silverlake. I originally found this apartment on Listings Project so we're back :). The apartment is in a house that was split into 2 units, so we only have 1 neighbor we share a wall with. The building was built in 1924 so it has old school charm, but it has modern amenities like central ac, dishwasher and we just got the washer/dryer replaced so its brand new. There is a shared parking space in the back but there is also very easy street parking. Its on a lovely, quite, residential street. Close to the 101, Sunset blvd is only a 10 minute walk, there is also a park nearby and you can easily walk to target, cafes and shops in the area.

The living room and kitchen are both a nice size, my current roommate and I hosted a few dinner parties and the space is great for guests. I am not too attached to most of the furniture in the living room, I plan on getting a new couch but if you have one you love you are welcome to bring it! The bedroom is 11'3" x 10'8" so it can easily fit a queen size bed and plenty of furniture, you could probably fit a king size with less furniture as well. Its in the back of the apartment so it is very quite. We also have a small porch in the front and there are persimmon and tangerine trees in the yard!

I also have an 8 year old rescue dog named Theo, he loves to cuddle and just hang out, he is a very important part of my life so finding someone who loves dogs is very important to me. I also am open to living with another small dog if we were to see if they got along, but sorry no cats. There is also a $900 one time pet deposit.

My ideal roommate would be preferably a woman in her late 20s/early 30s. Someone who is good at communicating, kind, respectful and easy going. I became good friends with my current roommate so it would be great if we got along on a friendship level and could hang out occasionally, but I am also always respectful when you are wanting your own space. Also in terms of cleanliness I like to keep the place clean, doing a deep clean 1-2 times a month but it doesn't need to be spotless, as long as dishes are not out for days I'm happy.
