You will share the place with me (busy 50 something artist who travels a lot) and my flight attendant housemate who also travels a lot. It will be a rare moment when all 3 ppl will be home at the same time.

You can come home and close the door and work/rest and I/ we won't bother you! Your room is very private and quiet and has room for a desk/ table. Currently the room is furnished with a captains bed and a desk but can be unfurnished as well. There’s a deep closet - good storage space.

This home is a spacious, first floor 3 BR apartment in a 2 story building with one family upstairs.

A good, clean kitchen with a big fridge, a gas stove/oven, front and backyard/ outdoor space, nice neighbors, lots of light, ceiling fans, hardwood floors, good heat & hot water, bathtub & shower, fast internet. The house is full of art and quality furnishings.

The neighborhood is full of amenities: citibikes, laundry, delis, groceries, international markets, amazing restaurants and cute cafes and is a 15 minute walk to Prospect Park.
We are close to Park Slope and an easy drive to/from Manhattan due to the Battery Tunnel and it's super easy to get on the BQE from nearby Prospect Expressway. I can get to Chelsea in my car in 20 min when there's no traffic.

*Accessibility note: there is a small outdoor staircase to get into the building.

We are 2 working women ( mid 50s & late 20s) who live separate lives. Peacefully coexisting and sharing space in order to be comfortable and afford NYC, we are mostly ships that pass and are looking for another person like us to share the apartment and live in the 3rd bedroom.

I’m an artist with back to back residencies coming up and she’s a flight attendant.
The house is pretty quiet. And the neighborhood is very mellow. I’ve lived here 8 years and love the friendly vibe of this area. It’s not a place ppl come to go out - primarily working families from all over the world.

Looking for 1 roommate only and no frequent overnight guests.
The kitchen and bathroom are shared spaces that we like to keep clean so we prefer to live with others who agree with this idea.
