I'm subletting my room in a beloved Prospect Heights 3-bedroom for a few months while out of town on a residency. The apartment is the third floor of a brownstone walk-up. We have a pretty spacious common space, with a living room, dining room, and kitchen. My bedroom is small and cozy.
The apartment is around the corner from Unnameable Books on Vanderbilt and a few blocks from Prospect Park, Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn Central Library, and the Brooklyn Museum. Very transit-accessible: off the B/Q, 2/3, and C.
We have a dishwasher and free laundry in the basement.
I'm a writer, and my roommates are two extremely kind, smart, and easygoing women in their late 20s. One has a cat. We keep a pretty neat place, but don't have any particular routines around housekeeping. We keep things quiet in the daytime, as one of my roommates works from home, but we're all pretty relaxed about having people over in the evenings/weekends. My roommates would like to have a quick conversation before we lock down the sublet.
The pictures show my room as it is now, but I'm happy to clear out most of my belongings for your stay.
Rent doesn't include utilities, which the subletter will Venmo to my roommate towards the end of the month (if arriving/leaving halfway through the month, we will split utilities for that month).
Rent can also be paid over Venmo, directly to me, on a monthly basis.
Sublet dates are somewhat flexible.
